Emirates A380 - Crosswind Landing at Heathrow

Full HD Footage of an Emirates Airbus A380 (Registration : A6-EDJ) passing low overhead and performing a crosswind landing on Runway 27L (L = left) at London Heathrow Airport.

The flight was inbound from Dubai and arrived at 12:15 pm local time.

As you can see in the footage it was quite windy on approach and you can see the pilot making some final adjustments before touchdown.

Trivia : This aircraft was one of the original A380 test aircraft (Test Reg : F-WWEA) used by Airbus and was subsequently refurbished before being delivered to Emirates on 7th June 2010.

Garuda Indonesia Airlines Open New Route to Europe

Tourism businesses hope that Garuda Indonesia airlines immediately open a direct flight from Indonesia to Paris, France. The opening of direct flights to Paris are expected to further increase the number of foreign tourists (tourists) of French origin who travel to Indonesia. So far, Garuda Indonesia only do direct flights to Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Course also have supported aviation among areas in the country to more easily reach major tourist sites.

January-July 2011, the French foreign tourists to Indonesia reached 94 788 people, up 8.44 percent compared to same period last year.

Airbus A380 crosswind landing test at Brest

Airbus came on september 20 and 21, 2006 at Brest Bretagne Airport to perform crosswind landing test on Rwy 25L. The prototype Falcon 7X also came in. Here is the wind on those days : 180° 25G45KT (full crosswind !!). What an unbelievable feeling when I saw this big bird on our regional airport. Thanks so much Airbus for all those tests at Brest !!! Great show !
